The
Thunder Bay Community Foundation held its 2017 Scholarship as well as Bursary Reception at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery this even out as well as it was an exciting as well as really good attended event.
I served on the Foundation Board from 2007 to 2010 as well as this even out was an chance to reconnect alongside the Foundation as well as its activities. The Foundation was established inward 1971 alongside a gift from Prue Morton as well as has gone on to construct a substantial endowment that funds a programme of community grants including a ready of scholarship as well as bursaries to students from Thunder Bay as well as tnorthwestern Ontario. This year, cheers to the generosity of many donors over the years, the Foundation was able to acquaint $66,900 inward scholarships as well as bursaries to students inward Thunder Bay as well as the District of Thunder Bay.
